Rustins High Heat Black Paint can be used on ferrous metals such as wood burning stoves, barbeques, domestic and industrial stoves, chimney furnaces, grates and exhaust. The paint is not only fast drying and protective but is suitable for use upto temperatures of 600°C
Preparation: Clean surface first and ensure it is dry and free from grease, dust, rust and other contaminants. If any surface rust is present, remove all rust with a scraper. Any previous coatings must be removed - this product should only be used on bare metal. Only one coat should be applied.
Application: Stir well before use. Apply with a good bristle paint brush. Rustins High Heat Black Paint can be sprayed, but always carry out a tester patch first.
Storage: Store the product in a cool place. Secure the lid firmly with an airtight seal after use. The product can be used after the 2 year shelf life but should be checked first to ensure the product is still suitable for use.
